Cestrum obovatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Cestrum obovatum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Otto Sendtner pada tahun 1846.
