Cestrum pacificum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Kepulauan Revillagigedo (Pulau Socorro). Nama ilmiah Cestrum pacificum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1899.
