Cestrum rigidum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Cestrum rigidum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Hurd Rusby pada tahun 1895.
