Chaenactis lacera merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko (Baja California). Nama ilmiah Chaenactis lacera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1889.
