Chaerophyllum aurantiacum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Suriah hingga Israel. Nama ilmiah Chaerophyllum aurantiacum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Edward Post pada tahun 1892.
