Chaerophyllum creticum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kriti (sekitar Omalos). Nama ilmiah Chaerophyllum creticum diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1849.
