Chaerophyllum nivale merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Iran barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Chaerophyllum nivale pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ian Charleson Hedge pada tahun 1980.
