Chaetocarpus schomburgkianus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Peraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Amerika Selatan bagian utara dan Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Chaetocarpus schomburgkianus diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ernst Otto Kuntze pada tahun 1912.
