Chamaecrista flexuosa var. texana merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas sensitive pea. Nama ilmiah Chamaecrista flexuosa var. texana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Samuel Botsford Buckley pada tahun 1982.
