Chamaeleon macrocephalus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania tengah. Nama ilmiah Chamaeleon macrocephalus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Giuseppe Giacinto Moris pada tahun 1846.
