Chaptalia dentata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pineland daisy. Nama ilmiah Chaptalia dentata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexandre Henri Gabriel de Cassini pada tahun 1823.
