Chaptalia nutans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan heal and draw. Nama ilmiah Chaptalia nutans mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1878.
