Chascanum cernuum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Chascanum cernuum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Heinrich Friedrich Meyer pada tahun 1838.
