Chasmanthe aethiopica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Chasmanthe aethiopica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1932.
