Chionanthus zeylanicus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India (Tamil Nadu), Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Chionanthus zeylanicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
