Chiropetalum astroplethes adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada tenggara hingga Meksiko (Guanajuato, Querétaro dan San Luis Potosí). Nama ilmiah Chiropetalum astroplethes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John William Ingram pada tahun 1997.
