Chloothamnus elatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Chloothamnus elatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Eric Holttum pada tahun 2016.
