Chloracantha spinosissima merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Baja California Sur). Nama ilmiah Chloracantha spinosissima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 2018.
