Chloris affinis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina (Tucumán). Nama ilmiah Chloris affinis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama José Aristide Caro pada tahun 1971.
