Chloris cruciata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Greater Antilles. Nama ilmiah Chloris cruciata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
