Chloris diluta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Zimbabwe hingga Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Chloris diluta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Stephen Andrew Renvoize pada tahun 1977.
