Chloris × subdolichostachya adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat tengah dan selatan hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shortspike windmill grass. Nama ilmiah Chloris × subdolichostachya diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Karl August Müller pada tahun 1861.
