Chloris texensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan texas windmill grass. Nama ilmiah Chloris texensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Valentine Nash pada tahun 1896.
