Chlorophytum macrophyllum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Chlorophytum macrophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1867.
