Chlorophytum orchidastrum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Chlorophytum orchidastrum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Lindley pada tahun 1824.
