Chlorophytum polystachys merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Chlorophytum polystachys pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1878.
