Chlorophytum viridescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kamerun, kawasan tropis Afrika bagian timur. Nama ilmiah Chlorophytum viridescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1895.
