Chloropyron maritimum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian barat hingga Meksiko (Baja California bagian utara). Nama ilmiah Chloropyron maritimum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1907.
