Chresta harleyi merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Chresta harleyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harold E. Robinson pada tahun 1983.
