Chrysactinia truncata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Chrysactinia truncata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1890.
