Chrysocoma ovata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Yaman barat (Tihama). Nama ilmiah Chrysocoma ovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1775.
