Chytranthus ellipticus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Nigeria selatan. Nama ilmiah Chytranthus ellipticus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Hutchinson pada tahun 1928.
