Cicer flexuosum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Cicer flexuosum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Vladimir Ippolitovich Lipsky pada tahun 1904.
