Cinnagrostis spicigera var. cephalotes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Cinnagrostis spicigera var. cephalotes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 2019.
