Cinnamomum macrophyllum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Maluku. Nama ilmiah Cinnamomum macrophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1864.
