Cirsium edule adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Washington hingga Oregon. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan edible thistle. Nama ilmiah Cirsium edule pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1841.
