Cirsium rhothophilum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan surf thistle. Nama ilmiah Cirsium rhothophilum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1931.
