Cirsium schimperi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Cirsium schimperi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Vatke pada tahun 1967.
