Cistanche lutea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan holoparasit dari famili Orobanchaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Spanyol tenggara Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Cistanche lutea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis René Louiche Desfontaines pada tahun 1806.
