Citharexylum hintonii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Citharexylum hintonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1934.
