Citharexylum lycioides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko timur (and Michoacán). Nama ilmiah Citharexylum lycioides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David Don pada tahun 1831.
