Citharexylum microphyllum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Citharexylum microphyllum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1909.
