Citrus australasica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland tenggara hingga New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Citrus australasica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1858.
