Cladoraphis cyperoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Angola hingga Provinsi Cape. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bristly lovegrass. Nama ilmiah Cladoraphis cyperoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1982.
