CLAPPERTONIA Clappertoniapolyandra (K.Schum. ex Sprague) Bech.
Clappertonia polyandra merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan clappertonia. Nama ilmiah Clappertonia polyandra diperkenalkan oleh Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1930.
