Cleistes tenuis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Trinidad hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Cleistes tenuis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1926.
