Cleome africana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Afrika utara. Nama ilmiah Cleome africana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Victor Petrovič Botschantzev pada tahun 1964.
