Cleome chelidonii merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cleome chelidonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1782.
