Cleome gigantea merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Cleome gigantea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1768.
