Cleome houtteana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Cleomaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Cleome houtteana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1851.
